I have been with Kaiser Permanente for 26 years and choose to work here because of the organization's commitment to evidence-based medicine. I have a strong belief in preventive health care and strive to educate my patients by making complex situations simple to understand. I want my patients to feel they've been heard and have had their needs met with every interaction. My practice includes minimally invasive surgery, gynecology, menopause and hormone care, endometriosis, LGBTQ care and low-level infertility treatment.

About Me
I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and went to medical school and residency training in Kansas City, Missouri. I knew I wanted to be a doctor since the sixth grade because I was very good at science, anatomy, math, and really enjoyed helping people. I have been married for 24 years and have 5 children, 2 cats, and 1 dog.
How I Thrive
I like to eat healthy, and I've never seen a vegetable I didn't like, except for lima beans! I try to exercise three or four times a week and as a soccer fanatic, I've coached my sons' soccer teams for the past 12 years. My family loves to play games of all types and I especially like trivia. If I hadn't chosen to be a physician I would have pursued a career as a jazz musician. I played saxophone and piano with bands all through medical school and residency training.
