"I strive to treat each of my patients as I would want myself or my family to be treated."
Board certified Dermatology
I consider it a great privilege to take care of people. I strive to treat each of my patients as I would want myself or my family to be treated. My goal is to provide care that is patient-centered, evidence-based and the highest quality possible. I am fortunate to collaborate with a group of wonderful physician colleagues and an outstanding nursing team. We work together to determine the best treatment plan for each patient as an individual.
I was born and raised in Alabama, and I attended college and medical school there. I came to Seattle for my residency training at the University of Washington and decided to make this my home. I became a physician because I always loved biology and I find great inspiration and satisfaction in working with people.
My husband and I feel lucky to live in the Pacific Northwest. We have a Pug dog and we enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love to travel, camp and snorkel. My favorite vacation destinations are the Big Island in Hawaii, New Orleans, New York City, France and various music festivals. I stay mentally healthy through frequent doses of live music, doing puzzles, reading fiction and yoga. Yoga also helps me stay physically active along with ballet, walking, hiking and snowboarding. I'm also trying to get back into golfing with my husband.
