My philosophy is to offer the care that makes the most sense to my patients and their families. I really enjoy working with patients to find a good balance between where they are now, and the optimal care they need to reach their health goals. I practice at this organization because I want to provide excellent care that focuses on the patients' needs, and is based on good communication with patients and their families. My areas of specialty are chronic kidney disease, kidney transplant, and auto immune kidney disease.
I was born and raised in Southern Colorado. I still have family in Colorado, and consider it my home. I am very happily married, and have two children and two dogs. I was attracted to medicine through my great aunt, who served as a nurse in Native American communities. Many of my family members have struggled with medical issues, so I have always been drawn to the opportunity to offer quality care.
