"Practicing medicine with compassion is at the core of my care philosophy."
Board certified Infectious Disease
I decided to pursue a career in medicine in ninth grade when our class was assigned to research and report on a career we thought we'd be well-suited toward. I've stayed on that path ever since, and it's really been a great choice for me personally. My initial choice to work at Kaiser Permanente was based on my desire to live in the Pacific Northwest. Throughout the years, I have recognized repeatedly that our model of care delivery and our medical groups are consistently excellent. I am privileged to work among some highly capable and compassionate individuals.
I was born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia just outside of Pittsburgh. Many friends and family members still reside there. By contrast, I now live in an urban high-rise condominium in downtown Seattle.
I sang for years in the Seattle Men's Chorus. I play piano and organ regularly for relaxation. I love to travel. I exercise regularly and am grateful for my health and many great relationships. I’m trying to learn to be a better cook.
