"I invite feedback from my patients, and work together with them to craft a perfect plan for their care."
Board certified Family Medicine
My areas of specialty are women's health, pediatrics, adolescents, geriatrics, and veterans. I consider seeing patients an amazing honor and privilege, and look forward to partnering with them to strive for wholeness. I invite feedback from my patients, and work together with them to craft a perfect plan for their care. I joined Kaiser Permanente, because it allows me to collaborate with a team of innovative and excellent clinicians and staff, is committed to helping communities thrive, and provides expert resources to keep our patients healthy and happy.
I was born and raised in the great Northwest, and studied religion and business at Walla Walla University as an undergraduate. When I started medical school at Loma Linda University in Southern California, I saw the most beautiful girl in my class, and soon we were happily married. My purpose is to inspire optimal health. As a leader and a family medicine physician, I get to help my friends and family be happy and healthy. I love what I do. Before moving to Spokane, I served as medical director for family medicine at Loma Linda University. I taught residents at the residency, and was very involved as faculty in the medical school.
I strive to be an amazing husband and father. My wife, children, and I love to be active, and camp, hike, ski, and ride mountain bikes. When we can't do these things, we do yoga, lift weights, run, read together, or play board games as a family. We love to try new foods, and are always planning our next trip around the world. I'm phasing out of basketball and flag football, and into tennis, volleyball, and my favorite - golf.
