I wanted to be a physician since I was four years’ old. My pediatrician inspired me through his care, demeanor, and ability to explain complicated ideas in a relatively simple manner that I could understand. Since then, I’ve worked to promote that same kind of empathy, understanding, thoughtfulness, and compassion in my own practice as a psychiatrist working with children. I joined this organization because I have the opportunity to provide high-quality care while collaborating with providers across different medical disciplines. Additionally, the opportunity to test forward-thinking ideas and practice keeps medicine fresh and exciting.
I grew up in Virginia. After medical training, I moved to Seattle, Washington, to pursue further training in child and adolescent psychiatry at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
In my free time, I play guitar and spend time with my spouse.
