During my residency with Kaiser Permanente, I enjoyed partnering with providers and specialists across the organization to give patients the best patient-centered care possible. With the consulting nurse helpline, urgent care centers, and on-call doctors, patients always feel well cared for. Routine eye exams are an important part of overall health, and I make it a point to educate patients on vision care. I want my patients to know that I'm available to address questions or concerns they may have, either by phone, in clinic, or through secure online messaging. I love making connections with my patients and enjoy learning about their lives. I am happy to be staying on with Kaiser Permanente after my residency and look forward to taking care of patients for years to come.
I grew up in Kent, Washington and attended the University of Washington for my undergraduate studies. I completed my optometry training at Pacific University in the small town of Forest Grove, Oregon. Afterwards, I returned to Washington state to finish a one-year residency with Kaiser Permanente. I have a close relationship with my family, and I'm happy to be practicing optometry in the state I call home.
