"I enjoy establishing lifelong relationships with my patients and guiding them as they make positive health choices and improve their quality of life."
Patient-centered care is my number 1 priority. Taking the time to listen carefully to patients and address their concerns helps them to better understand their condition while creating a plan that is personalized to each individual's lifestyle. I enjoy establishing lifelong relationships with my patients and guiding them as they make positive health choices and improve their quality of life. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine, completed my residency from the University of Washington School of Medicine, and finished a fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine with a specialty in glaucoma. I am board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and am a member of the American Glaucoma Society and the Washington Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and am happy to speak the language with patients.

About Me
I am a compassionate, motivated provider who puts the patient first and always strives to give high-quality, individualized care. Originally from Texas, I spent my teenage years in several countries in Asia before moving to Seattle for my undergraduate training. Though I have lived in many places across the globe, I have always gravitated toward the beautiful Pacific Northwest and consider Seattle my home. I was inspired to become an ophthalmologist because I believe that vision is the most important sense we have; vision connects us to each other and the world around us.
How I Thrive
In my free time, I enjoy baking at home, spending quality time with family and friends, and reading a good book. To keep myself healthy, I exercise regularly, maintain a nutritious diet, and stay active outdoors hiking the Pacific Northwest.
