I joined Kaiser Permanente in an aim to provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and across all backgrounds. The health care delivery organization supports preventive care and offers the necessary facilities to manage and treat complex eye conditions and eye diseases. My approach to care is compassionate and individualized. I find the field of optometry challenging, and yet, rewarding because of the wide range of patients I'm able to see. From year to year, a patient's visual needs may change, and I enjoy the dynamic process of caring for patients throughout their lives.
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where I also graduated from optometry school. I moved to Washington state to complete a medical residency at the American Lake VA Hospital. I've remained in the Pacific Northwest ever since.
