Optometry - Contact Lens
I have always found eyes and vision fascinating. I have greatly enjoyed helping my patients see the world as clearly as possible. I believe it is very important to coordinate eye care with the health of the rest of the body. My work at Kaiser Permanente has allowed me to work closely with other providers to assure our patients are getting the best care possible. It is my goal to help each patient understand and find solutions to their eye-related problems and give them the time and compassion they deserve. Specific populations I serve include contact lens wearers, adults and children. I also treat eye disease such as diabetic retinopathy, dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and eye infections. It's heartening to see the difference improved vision can make in the lives of my patients.
I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am happily married with three young sons.
I enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, volleyball, and basketball. I also volunteer at my church. I enjoy exploring different parts of the Northwest and taking my family on trips around this region. Every year, I find a new spot to go backpacking with my sons. When the weather is good, I try to get out several times a week to kayak. I fill the rest of my time with biking, running, and using the elliptical machine.
