My areas of specialty are ocular disease and contact lenses. I strive to provide my patients with the best possible eye care for their lifestyle needs. As a primary care optometrist, I am allowed to work with patients of all backgrounds and ages, from kids to the elderly. Working in medicine is gratifying, because you learn something new every day. I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente because of the top-notch staff and physicians. I feel privileged to work with them.
I grew up in the Midwest. I am happily married, and have a large extended family. I enjoyed science when I was growing up, and loved meeting and taking care of people. I find it rewarding be able to help my patients improve their vision and eye health. I completed a residency in primary care optometry, and am now a residency coordinator and associate professor for Kaiser Permanente. I really enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge of the optometric and medical field with our residents.
