I am a patient-focused provider who enjoys the collegial, collaborative atmosphere of Kaiser Permanente and the benefits it offers patients. I listen carefully to each patient's individual concerns and treat them as I would a close friend or family member. While working with patients over a long period of time, I enjoy getting to know them on a personal level and sharing in their challenges and triumphs.
I was born in Hawaii and moved to Seattle after my training and have lived here with my family ever since. I am passionate about helping people to maximize their vision. After graduating from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, I completed my residency at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and a fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine. I am certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. I am fluent in Cantonese and enjoy speaking the language with patients.
