It is a rewarding experience to improve someone's vision. My patients come to me with their personal issues and concerns, and trust me to provide excellent care for them. I give them my best, and care for each of my patients the way I care for myself and my family members. I serve all age groups, genders, and races. I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente, because it has the best integrated patient care and delivery system. It is a great place to give and receive care.
I was born in China, and grew up there. I joined this organization after I received the Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. My wife and I have two children and a cat. Some of my family members suffered from ocular disorders, so eye care has been my passion even before I graduated from college. I received a PhD in pathology from University of Washington, and published numerous papers in peer review journals on issues of aging, longevity, and glaucoma.
